Terms of service
1. Provider and service
Your contracting party is Jean Julien Lehmpfuhl, Wißmarer Weg 12, 35396 Gießen, Deutschland, email [email protected]. Picunora provides a private event photo album. The service depends on the selected plan: 5 GB, 20 GB, 60 GB or custom storage from 100 to 1,000 GB for one event. Storage is measured in decimal units; originals and thumbnails both count towards usage.
2. Orders and prices
Creating an account or draft album does not trigger a payment. Your plan, total price and storage period are shown before payment. You place your binding order on the Stripe payment page. The contract is formed upon successful payment and album activation. All stated prices are final prices including applicable VAT. There is no subscription or automatic renewal.
Currency and international use
Prices are fixed in EUR or USD. You choose the currency when creating an album; it also applies to upgrades and extensions. Changing the website display currency does not change existing albums. There is no automatic exchange-rate conversion; your payment provider may charge its own fees. The service can be used internationally where Stripe, the card provider and applicable law permit it. Unrestricted availability in every country is not guaranteed.
Order corrections and contract language
You can review and change your selection before continuing to Stripe. You may leave the payment page before completing the order and return to album management. Contracts can be concluded in German or English. You can save these terms and the cancellation policy using your browser’s print function.
3. Storage period and file formats
Your album is available for 30 calendar days from the chosen event date, starting at midnight in the chosen event time zone. JPEG, PNG and WebP are supported, up to 20 MB and 25 megapixels per photo. Videos are not included. There is no limit on invited guests; the booked storage capacity and technical protection limits apply to everyone collectively. Once the storage limit is reached, uploads resume after an upgrade or after space is freed.
Storage upgrades
You may purchase a larger plan until one hour before expiry. The total upgrade price is the plan price difference plus the extension price difference for all 30-day extensions already purchased. Prices are not prorated. The price is displayed before payment. After confirmed payment, only storage capacity increases; existing photos, the guest link and expiry date remain unchanged. Future extensions use the new plan price. Downgrades are not offered.
4. Responsibility for content and invitations
Upload only content for which you hold the necessary rights. Respect the privacy rights and consent of people shown in photos. Unlawful content, content infringing third-party rights, and harmful content are prohibited. Keep guest links confidential. Anyone with a link receives the described album access. Organisers can close uploads, renew links and remove photos.
5. Expiry
Download your photos before expiry. You may book 30-day extensions until one hour before expiry. After confirmed payment, extra time is added to the existing expiry date. Payment must be confirmed before expiry. When the booked period ends, the gallery and guest access close. Original photos are combined into a ZIP archive. Individual originals and thumbnails are deleted only after the archive has been successfully created and verified. The ZIP is available only in the organiser account until 30 calendar days after the booked period ends; it is then automatically deleted permanently. Large albums take time to process. Status and the download deadline are shown in the account. Processing is retried after technical failures; source files are retained for archive creation until the end of the additional archive period at the latest. Empty albums do not receive a ZIP. The maintenance job runs every five minutes. Expired albums cannot be extended or restored. A payment confirmed too late does not restore an album; please contact us for a refund. The storage period begins at midnight on the chosen event date in the chosen event time zone. Extensions add calendar days to the existing expiry date. Picunora does not replace your own permanent backup of important files. Statutory remedies for defects remain unaffected.
6. Rights if problems occur
Statutory rights regarding defects and statutory liability apply. For technical problems or content reports, contact [email protected]. The statutory right of cancellation is explained in the cancellation policy. Requesting immediate service does not automatically exclude this right.
